OVER 1,000 sporting individuals participated in the ‘Walk for Charity’ organised by Islamic Outreach Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM) recently.
The walk, held at Dataran Merdeka, was organised to raise funds for welfare and community activities.

Converts Development

:: Converts Development Program
An estimated over 1,000 new converters will be rendered various services in year 2004, including evening and weekend Islamic classes, one-on-one tutoring, counseling and other support group networks, with a budget of RM 150,000.

It aims to bring a multi-pronged services to these indigenous people in their settlements, including weekly Islamic orientation and counseling, periodic clinical visits by doctors and dentists, as well as training in medical aids (for emergency cases), and health and sanitation, with a budget of RM 100,000.
